Andrew Christie

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew is an experienced business professional having held key commercial, finance and strategic leadership roles, domestically and abroad. He is passionate about improving farming practices and empowering farmers with tools for success in what is becoming an increasingly data and digitally-lead sector. Having grown up in and around the farming and horticultural industry, he is passionate to deconstructing problems and building trusted solutions for farmers.


James Strathern

Software & Business Intelligence Engineer

James studied a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Computer Science and Philosophy, focusing on logic and artificial intelligence. He has a passion for games of all kinds, astronomy, and problem solving.

In his role at OmniEye, he performs data aggregation and visualization to help monitor and support the performance of the system, implements and maintains cloud computing solutions, and manages our observability tools to generate business intelligence.


Antoine Faure

IoT Software Engineer

Antoine is an embedded software engineer with experience in IoT. Over the past few years, he has been writing applications for embedded Linux devices, such as video cameras, alarm systems and LPWAN (Low-Power Wide-Area Networks) base stations. With his code usually being deployed to several thousands of devices, Antoine has also been doing some test automation to ensure the quality standards were met.

Antoine also loves traveling, tramping and gardening.


John Brown

Software Engineer

John works primarily with cloud technologies and infrastructure in python and C#.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Victoria in British Columbia.  During his time in Canada, he spent his summers planting trees in the forests.

After he finished school, he spent a year travelling South America before finding his way to New Zealand to join the OmniEye team.
