OmniEye Locomotion is a non-invasive monitoring system for livestock that works seamlessly with both traditional stockman techniques and wearable behavior monitoring systems. Our system harnesses the power of Artificial Intelligence, which has been trained by veterinary professionals, and machine learning to visually assess the health of your herd.
By providing an additional level of monitoring and assurance, our system can detect early signs of lameness, as well as other animal traits and welfare issues and trends. Easy to install and understand
The non-intrusive camera can be easily installed on your farm.
The video feeds into a reporting dashboard that delivers a locomotion score between 0 (healthy) to 3 (very lame) for each cow, providing you with insight into the health of your herd and any potential lameness events or trends.
Technical requirements
OmniEye Locomotion can be installed quickly, easily and with minimal requirements. These include:
A good on-farm internet connection (5Mbps and 150 GB monthly data cap)
Hard surface exit race of ideally 10m (min 6m), mostly flat and with cows preferably single file
An EID reader on the exit race (this can be supplied as part of the installation)
